Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy. If at the west, they have EPL, FA Cup, Carling Cup or UEFA Champions league, here in SE Asia, not just the Asia Cup, but also Hassanal Bolkiah Cup or better known as Asean's Champions league. Sadly, thousands of Indonesian and Laos supporters were dissappointed when the committee announced that both teams will not participate in this prestigious tournament due to home commitments.
The opening ceremony of the Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy for Asean Youth Football Championship will take place on Saturday 3rd of March at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium. Brunei Darussalam will take on Cambodia right after the opening ceremony. According to one of the commitee, the tournament aims to support His Majesty's Titah to involve the best teams in Asean to expose great abilities in Asean sportsmanship to the world. And at the same time, giving the opportunity to young players to compete outside their countries, whereby valuable networks amongst these players will be formed and further create an understanding of the different cultures in the Asean community. DPMMfc. Talking about football, Brunei DPMM FC is improving! I'll promise you for the first time this year, I will support you this wednesday against Trengganu. Dimana? Dimana? bawah scoreboard? ok tu.. bah tunggu saja ku disana.. hehe. Brunei DPMMfc is now ranked at the 2nd spot of the Malaysian Super League table with 18points and just below current table leader, Perlis with 20 points. And Shahrazen Said is currently the top scorer of the S-League with 9 goals.
